Have you ever wondered why we hear people saying ‘what you put out is what you receive’? Do you believe it?
Have you ever noticed when you are smiling at others (just random people) they smile back and have you ever noticed those that don’t smile back don’t bother you as much when you are smiling as opposed to when you can’t even produce a smile?
The definition of resonance from Wikipedia
Humans resonate with each other and within the environments in which they exist. Therefore, we have an impact on others and others have an impact on us.
We choose how to turn up each day, with our families, with our friends, with our colleagues and with the societies we live and visit. Sometimes we are not even aware of how we are turning up or why we are turning up in a way that is not ‘normally’ who we are, this can be as a result of habits that we have assumed to deal with feelings associated with situations or people who we spend time with who may be having an impact on us ‘resonating’.
Given we all have choices we can choose how we view and how we act in each moment. Sometimes our reptilian brain may hijack some of our actions when we are faced with threatening situations, but being aware of this is the first step in changing how we respond, act, turn up. We can even choose to encompass different ways of being on different days or within different situations, for example, courageous, lightness, with integrity (we each need to research what the meaning of a keyword is to us and how we will apply it). Using just the word to remind us of how we are choosing to act for those days, weeks, situations can change the very perception we view the world with and therefore how we respond. But more importantly, once we choose to act in these ways we will have an effect on those that we come into contact with. We will either resonate with them and therefore attract them, or they will change how they resonate. If we are not aware of how we are resonating or ‘choosing’ to resonate is usually when we are open to changing what we are attracted too.
If you are currently aiming to change, change anything from your mood, your job, your house, activities that you do, you need to be aware of how you are resonating and you need to maintain it so that you can attract it and create it. Consider it similar to the ‘ripple effect’.
How will you resonate for the rest of the week?
Have a great day.
